The Leapfrog facility study is an annual voluntary study in which Leapfrog invites hospitals to disclose quality and safety statistics and then publicly report that information by the facility. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a letter grade that Leapfrog awards to general hospitals in the United States, whether they voluntarily contribute data to Leapfrog.
