1. Celiac Disease & Gluten Sensitivity

Celiac disease (Celiac sprue) is an immunological response to gluten. Gluten causes damage to the small intestine, where the body gets many nutrients, in those with celiac disease. Our doctors are professionals in recognizing and treating digestive health disorders in New Jersey, and they will work with you to determine their causes and provide relief.

2. Diverticulitis

Diverticula are small, swollen pockets that grow in weak regions of the lining of the large intestine (colon), leading to diverticulosis. Digestive Healthcare Center’s gastroenterologists are happy to work with patients to treat digestive health conditions such as diverticulitis.

3. Colorectal Cancers

Colon cancer is cancer of the colon (large intestine), whereas rectal cancer is cancer of the rectum (the last few inches of the colon). Colorectal cancers are the collective term for these two disorders. Digestive Healthcare Centre is committed to providing our patients with the knowledge and services they require to support optimal digestive health and finding and removing colon polyps before they grow into cancer.

4. GERD/Acid Reflux

Acid reflux, or GERD, is caused by frequent acid reflux. It is a chronic disorder that arises when stomach acids back up into the bottom of your esophagus (lower esophageal sphincter) and irritate the lining. Digestive Healthcare Center’s experts will analyze your GERD symptoms and provide the best treatment plan. A telehealth visit is a virtual video chat visit with your provider. You can video chat with your provider and obtain the required assistance if you have a smartphone. This service is useful for patients since you can meet with a doctor without having to be in the same place as them, and you may arrange your appointment whenever it is most convenient for you.

What Happens If I'm Late for My Telehealth Visit?

A: Because we’re still a doctor’s office, time is crucial. If you believe you will be late for your telehealth appointment, please phone us so we can notify the doctor. We will give you up to 15 minutes before canceling the meeting and asking you to reschedule.

What Should I Do If I Have to Cancel or Reschedule My Telehealth Appointment?

A: If you need to cancel or reschedule your telehealth appointment, please contact our office; we will gladly help you.

Will wifi Support Telehealth?

Yes! As long as your wifi connection is strong enough. Make sure that nothing can interfere with your connection.

A: Remote monitoring through asynchronous, HIPAA-compliant clinical procedures and video conferencing with Bluetooth-enabled peripheral devices, as well as secure high-speed data transfer via a tablet, smartphone, or other similar device.
