Landmark established regional hospital referral centers to serve patients with medically complicated needs of intensive post-acute treatment. Landmark launched its first regional referral long-term acute hospital at Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 2006 and has increased to seven hospitals across four states. Landmark is comprised of six operating hospitals, each of which was constructed within the past eight years. Seven of Landmark’s affiliated LTACHs that are in operation today are in four states, including three in Missouri, two in Georgia, one in Utah, and one in Florida. On the level LTACH scale, the executive staff comprises a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, Medical Director, and Registered Nursing personnel. Furthermore, each LTACH includes housekeeping assistants, nursing assistant’s staff, maintenance, and business office personnel.
