HomeTown Health, LLC is an association of rural and small hospitals that are located across the Southeast. The group explores ways to help hospitals cope in the face of massive budget cuts at the federal and state levels. What started as a small group of community hospitals several years ago has grown to become a large organization that covers more than 60 hospitals across the Southeast and 70 hospitals in the Midwest. HomeTown is dedicated to the financial health and long-term viability of the hospital partners. HTHU currently offers more than 350 online courses within the School of Revenue Cycle Management, including our highly-respected hospital PFS/Business Office Certifications; School of Clinical/Staff Compliance; School of Long Term Care, School of Behavioral Health, School of Nursing Continuing Education, School of Health Information Technology; personalized online annual education courses and Healthcare Solutions Free Training Center. HTHU also offers a variety of Custom Education programs for universities and high schools, as well as training centers as well as Board Training for Boards of Directors in healthcare settings.

HomeTown hosts meetings exclusively to provide education and focus on topics relevant to today’s rural healthcare issues. The annual focus group meetings consist of CFOs, CEOs, Management of Business Offices and Case Managers, HR Managers, Materials Managers, HIPAA Compliance Officers, and Radiology Management Managers.
